I am trying to get my money back ever since.
I was supposed to be charged $25.49 per day, plus tax 11% and 8.12%, which equals to $334.
Looks like I have no CHOICE LIKE TO PUT STOP PAYMENT ON MY CREDIT CARD CHARGE.
Reserved SUV but got full-size instead. The staff claimed they tried to reach me about this arrangement but I apparently didn't receive any call. The staff talk too much with random people without getting real work done.
Terrible experience. I am an avid Zipcar user, but have recently been using Enterprise more frequently in manhattan. I made the last reservation via the phone while home, and traveled to this site to pick it up. When I got there the person that picked me up was overwhelmingly chatty, unprofessional in the personal questions he was asking, making my wife and myself very uncomfortable. Then when we got there, after his erratic driving, we were informed that this particular location requires 2 additional pieces of information if I chose to use a debit card. Well, I don’t carry my car insurance card on me since I don’t have a car at the moment, nor did I have a utility bill on my possession! It took me 1.5 hours to locate a suitable bill online, and a current insurance plan. Even so, they questioned the legitimacy of my plan, and I had to point out the dates of the coverage because they couldn’t find it themselves. I was forced to hand over my phone so they could look at it and they wanted to take it out of the building to show a coworker. I had to follow them out because I didn’t want them looking through my phone unsupervised. Furthermore, while I was suffering as I looked through my online accounts, they gave away the car I had reserved. So they were forced to give me the last car on lot.
they charged my credit card $632.54.
I then spent two days submitting complaints to the corporate office, and trying to change the drop off location, because I didn’t want to have to deal with this office Again, only to have the branch manager tell me that he feels his staff did everything right and In fact when above and beyond!! So of course he refused to authorize the waiving of the $100 drop off fee, because he would end up paying for it.
I’ve rented numerous times from the Manhattan/Brooklyn branches and always had a great experience. The corporate office have been patient and gracious about taking our complaints and working with us to resolve our issue. But this branch......customer service is horrible and hires low level people.
what ever needed to be fixed , since she was on the phone with ins co getting claim number and making adjustments. I had the rental for 11 days.
What a horrible nightmare!
I can count on Harriman/Monroe Enterprise to have a clean, safe car available every time I need one. I only wish they were open later on Friday or at least a few hours on Sunday.
in 25 years my car was t-boned for the first time in my life. I went to Enterprise in Harriman NY ( where ins. told me to ) to get the rental. They did something wrong in their system that it was showing like I rented the car on my own, not by the insurance case. (Thanks Mike need to pay more attention at work). Valentina got promotion and don't work in that location anymore. New manager cant help me. Called corporate office 3 times. Then the manager Even called me back, left message that I will get my refund in 3 days, that was over a week ago!!! Called corporate again, the guy named Brandon called me back, said he li looking in to account. Still no result as of now!
I had a deer strike on a Monday night and was in a rental car the next day by noon thanks to Mike's assistance. He coordinated everything with my insurance company and it went really smoothly. Excellent customer service. Thanks so much!
